SUB RECON offers very accurate, three-dimensional (XYZ) locating and mapping for piping and “trenchless” projects (new or existing). Our probes can survey projects in the following applications: Oil, Gas, Water, Sewer, Storm, or large electrical conduit. Our patented software then allows us to take the recorded data and produce precise Plan/Profile “As-Built” drawings instantly, in any format the Client wishes. (eg. AutoCAD, Microstation, etc) Another one of our benefits is the ability to map piping on unique and specialty projects such as lake, river, railroad and highway crossings. The SUB RECON probes have been designed as autonomous, GPS/gyroscopic-based systems capable of rapidly determining the location of underground piping of any size or material. Added benefits of our technology include determining depth of cover, inclination of pipe, and bend radius verification. In addition, we will soon introduce a new line of probes that combine our 3D mapping technology with Digital Video Recording for very precise GPS locating of connections, welds, issues, etc., as well as performing visual inspections.
