Since 1992, GEMTEK Products has been dedicated to the research, development and production of non-toxic, biodegradable specialty chemicals formulated from renewable, biobased ingredients. Several of GEMTEK’s SAFE CARE products are listed with the USEPA Design for the Environment (DfE) and the USDA BioPreferred Program. SC-1000 Aqueous Cleaner, a non-ionic surfactant formulation, is on the approved products list as a Surface Washing Agent with the USEPA National Oil & Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP). Additionally, SC-1000 and SC-SuperSolv have been pre-registered with REACH for use in the European Union. Applications for these products include oilfield drilling and production operations, as well as oil/water separation, tank cleaning, drilling fluid additive, well cleaning and rig maintenance. ISO 9001 certified manufacturing plants in California, Pennsylvania and Texas with global distribution.
