Managing Director – John Dingley
John Dingley commenced in the drilling industry in Seismic Survey in the 1960’s. He progressed from this to some basic mineral exploration and water bores in various parts of Australia.
John then spent four years overseas, first with seismic work in Madagascar, and then drilling water bores in the Western Desert in Egypt. He later managed a seismic operation in Nigeria before returning to Australia. The early 70’s were spent drilling for mineral sands, water and mining drilling in the coal industry, until John purchased his own equipment.
As well as drilling throughout Australia, one overseas program was completed in Vietnam. Since starting the business in 1975, the company had expanded to 10 units, but due to the downturn has reduced the fleet to a manageable 3 rigs.
